The 20th Anniversary celebration of our club, started off with a 10 Km Volksmarch. We felt it only fitting to have this event as part of our annual picnic walk. We also felt it fitting to have it at one of the newest state parks in the Commonwealth of Virginia. York River State Park, in Croaker, VA, has been the site of many of our state walks. It is a place that you can hear Eagle "sing' and see all sorts of water fowl. It, like most of Virginia is a place of history. The area that this park sits on was used as a natural 'deep-water port' up to the end of the Civil War. We will set US history aside and dwell on the great time our members, guests and families had at our celebration. A few of the men gather at the cars to plan how to set-up the food and drinks prior to doing the heavy lifting work. L-R; Ron, George and Dick (Picture to the RIGHT) |

The 20th Anniversary celebration of our club, went on for hours. The Pathfinder ate plenty of great food and loads of soft drinks. They told all of the funny stories that occured over the past 20 years, too. We had three charter members at the celebration and it was easy to see why our club has worked out so well. WE KNOW HOW TO HAVE A GREAT WALK AND A GREAT TIME AFTER!!! |
